Today Sean and I went to the doctor for my 9 week appointment where they performed an ultrasound to check to make sure everything looks OK, see if there are multiples and to narrow in the due date. Everything looks great so far. Baby's heartrate was 179 and based on the measurements they changed my due date from 3/24/10 to 3/16/10! So a St. Patty's Day baby is very, very possible. And this means I'm now 10 weeks pregnant (just like that).
The technician showed us the baby after she'd taken all the measurements she needed to. We got to see the baby's head, body, arms and legs, and we got to see the baby's HEARTBEAT. You could see every time it pumped. It was amazing to watch. And she printed out a picture for us to take home. So here it is...baby's first picture.
