Running and playing inside

So I still have some photos and stories from when Grandma Rose was here, plus a couple of other cute recent sayings/doings, to post.  Here's the first, with the second hopefully posted tomorrow.

Fiona's still really into running ("Look at this guys.").  She'll run up and down the hall, run to get something (instead of walking), and today she was running the whole length of the bowling alley.

She's been building water bottles lately with her blocks.  Or I think here she was building a bed for one of her dolls.  She has an active imagination and she'll make up stories about things.

She also built Sophia a "motorbike."  She's watched "You're A Good Sport, Charlie Brown" a lot.

Having a pretend snack.

Enjoying her lunch with many bowls.  Sometimes she likes to sing Happy Birthday while she's eating.  We'll eat some strawberries or blackberries and cream (whipped cream).  She'll dunk the berry in cream, sing Happy Birthday, blow out the candle, lick off the cream, and repeat.  Usually she sings to me, Daddy, Grama, Papa, etc, but one night she decided to sing Happy Birthday to her cup and then cracked up for several minutes about that (I did too).

Showing off her Halloween costume for Grandma Rose since she won't get to see it for Halloween.

My mom likes to play Solitaire so Fiona got to use "Grandma Rose's cards" one day to play a game.  She laid the cards out on the table like this.

She loves to pretend to shop.  She'll go to Krogers or JoAnns with her grocery list.  Sometimes she'll write it out (i.e. scribble on paper).  When we asked she said the list was for "oranges, apples, diapers, and pull-ups."  It varies slightly, sometimes she'll include bananas also.

I don't have any pictures, but last week she tripped while she was running outside and scraped her knee up enough so that the blood was dripping down her leg.  Now she keeps talking about her red blood.  She'll pretend for me to eat her red blood (yuck, no thanks!).

She'll also pretend that she's a dinosaur so she'll go "Stomp! Stomp! I'm a dinosaur.  I'm gonna eat your leg/arm/elbow/etc."  Then she'll pretend to take a bite out of us and then get a wash cloth (pretend) to clean up our "red blood" and put a pretend band-aid on it.  Repeat.
