We drove up to Chicago, to my sister Donna's place, for Easter this year. My mom came with us, and then Leo and Tracy came from MN and brought her back with them. It was a full house.
We left around lunch time and got to Donna and Margaret's around dinner time. We only had to stop twice, amazingly enough, with 2 little kids. Friday night was spent playing with play dough, cats, and cat toys. The cats (especially Molly) weren't too happy with all of the new people.
Saturday we lounged in the morning, went to the playground and dyed eggs after lunch, took a nap (including the grown-ups), and played a little after dinner. The idea of this trip was to visit and spend time with family (instead of going to see sights).
I love how Leo holds Fiona with one arm, but Tracy uses both to hold Ava.

I somehow got Ava securely front-facing in the Moby. She loved it (enough to fall asleep), but it wasn't quite tight enough so my back got sore after a while.
Fiona loves to help (on her terms) so she poured the water in the cups and dropped in the color tablets.
She also helped set a couple of eggs in, but Donna did the taking out.
Ava wasn't real interested in the egg dying.
And, of course, there were stickers!

Sunday morning Fiona found her Easter basket and hunted for Easter eggs, played a little more and watched part of a Tinkerbell movie that Donna had borrowed from the library. We had to leave in the late morning on Sunday and got back around dinnertime, with a few more stops on the way back, but still a pretty pleasant drive overall.
She found all the eggs (and was so excited) with only a few hints on where to look.
