We checked out the Cox Arboretum on Sunday, at the recommendation of one of my coworkers. They have a butterfly house that was closed, a couple of ponds, several longer paths and some beautiful landscaping. The weather was sunny, but the breeze was little cool. Everyone and their brother was out with a photographer taking senior portraits, engagement photos and who knows what else. We did a little amateur photography of our own with the point and shoot. We also hiked the blue trail (just over a mile) and checked out the ducks, butterflies and a turtle who was sunning himself.
Pre-hike, ready to go!
Checking out a nice little waterfall.
Time for a water break. Fiona rode in the carrier for most of the hike, but walked around in the paved areas.
Swings!
It's like they're tempting us to take more pictures by setting up such a nice arrangement!
The novelty of sitting up there alone wore off pretty quickly. Quick, take the picture!
