Will it Float?

We had a lot of rain and warm temperatures at the end of January creating a bunch of puddles everywhere so Fiona and I went outside the last weekend in January in search of a puddle for her duck to float in.  By time we went most of the puddles had disappeared, but we did find one deep enough for the duck to float in.  Fiona also grabbed a pinecone to put in the puddle, but that sank.  I kept fishing both out so Fiona could put them back in.  After doing that for a bit, Fiona found some sticks to drag around.
