Fiona talks up a storm these days. Sometimes the words she says aren't quite the right ones.
Yesterday we were eating some hummus and she kept calling it "Thomas", then she would start singing the "Thomas and friends" theme song. So we were eating "Thomas."
When we goof around she'll look at us and say "Silly Mommy" or "Silly Daddy" except when she says silly it sounds like sorry. It took a couple of times for me to catch on to that one.
Fiona continues to talk about herself in the third person, especially when she's telling you a story. For example, this morning we were changing the sheets on her bed, so she says "Daddy, I helping Mommy. Fiona pull sheets. Too hard. Ufff. Too hard." or yesterday she was telling us at dinner "Fiona go playground. Fiona swing. Lots of kids." She went to the playground with Grama yesterday and wanted to tell us all about it.
She also likes to repeat herself so she'll say the same thing 4 or 5 times in a row. I think she's doing that while she thinks of the next thing to say. Or sometimes she'll say one thing, pause or go "ummm, ummm" and then say the next.
It's amazing how much she talks now compared even with a couple of months ago.
