Santa

Every year we've let Fiona decide if she wanted to talk to Santa or not, and this year she decided she did want to.  She was a little hesitant, but she went up all by herself, sat on his lap and told him what she wanted so quietly that only he could hear.  Although when I asked her, she told me also.

Santa was at my work Children's Christmas Party.  They also had games, craft, food and a puppet show.  We didn't see the puppet show (didn't work out), but Fiona did make a bead candy cane, decorated a bag (including writing her own name) to put stuff in, colored a picture, played some games and ate exactly one bite of cotton candy.  She also got a toy diamond, just like the one that she got and lost last year, a candy cane, and some other goodies.  Ava was tolerably happy during the party, but got hungry towards the end.  There wasn't really anywhere she could crawl around so she had to be held the whole time.  It was all slushy and raining so we didn't bring the stroller in.

Before Sean and I went to his work Christmas party (that same day).  I wanted a picture since everyone was dressed up, but you can tell that Ava looks pretty tired.
