6 more weeks of winter

We were standing around outside in the sunshine today and Fiona was just staring at the ground.  It took me a minute to figure out what she was looking at.  She was checking out her shadow.  It's the first time she's really seen her shadow and definitely the first time she's taken an interest in it.  I was standing beside her so I starting moving my arms around and making my shadow move.  She wasn't too interested in that, but then I started using my shadow to poke her shadow.  That got a smile, giggle and hands clasped together.  Ah, fun with shadows.  :)
