From Summer to Fall

Yesterday was the first day that it really felt like fall...temperatures in the 60s, cloudy and breezy.  Just two days before it was in the upper 90s.  It's like the old saying, "if you don't like the weather, just wait 15 minutes".  :)

When the weather was warmer Fiona was out enjoying her pool, with her daddy.  He started pouring water on her and she really liked that.

With the cooler weather, and the holiday (well mostly the holiday) we visited John Bryan State Park where we went hiking, threw rocks in the water and off the bridge, climbed on a log, found some sticks and "petted" (more poked at) a caterpillar.

First she had to find a good rock.

Then it was time to drop it in the river.  Sean was trying to get her to throw them, but she hasn't quite mastered that yet.

Dropping rocks off the bridge was also fun.

Sitting on the log by Daddy.

Standing on the log by Mommy (closely supervised!).

After the park we decided to stop at Young's Dairy for ice cream since it wasn't that cold!  We stopped by to see the goats also.  Last time Fiona didn't want anything to do with the animals, but this time she was really interested in and petted the goats.
