We took Fiona on her first airplane ride today in the backseat of a 6-seat Piper Saratoga during the Aero Club open house. Carol, Sean and I went up with her also. She didn't want to keep the headset on at first, but she gave in pretty easily. Grandma told her it was her "airplane hat" so that probably helped, plus we all were wearing ours also and we wouldn't let her take it off. She was really calm and serious during most of the ride, which is unusual for her, like she was trying to figure out what was going on, but towards the end she was looking out the window more and pointing to the trees on the ground as we turned. Sean and I even got her to laugh some. She did really good for her first time up!
They also had a bounce house and lunch there. She LOVES the bounce house and didn't want to leave it. There was an older girl there that watched out for her, which was great for us.
