I had my first appointment for the new baby last week and got to hear his/her little heartbeat. It's such a wonderful sound.
Then when I got home, I told Sean how the midwife heard two heartbeats, and when his jaw dropped I explained that at first we could hear my heartbeat also. The look on his face was priceless!
