I figure this is a good way to share the experiences of our kids with out-of-town family and friends.

Bunny
Some of you have met him, some have not. This is Bunny. Fiona and Ava LOVE Bunny. Bunny is a pink hand puppet that talks in a funny voice. Ava likes it when he plays peek-a-boo, grabs her nose or ear or cheek, dances, jumps up and down, waves, claps, and makes funny noises. Fiona has a more involved, complex relationship with Bunny. She knows that Bunny is a toy, and will tell him so saying "Bunny, you are a toy. You were made in a factory." She knows that Sean and I make him talk, yet she speaks to Bunny directly, not to us, when he's on our hands. She treats him like a friend, yet understands that he's not a person. She'll ask him to do things, will cheer him on if he's doing something hard (like picking up something heavy), will give him hugs, and responds most times more quickly when he asks her to do something than when we ask her. To me, her interaction with Bunny is wondrous and adorable.
