Here's some extra pictures from when my mom was visiting around Christmas and New Year's.
Ava like opening and closing anything she can get her hands on.
Including the cabinets! (Although we usually don't let her.)
Also Fiona's toybox. And she checks out the toys.
The back of this Jeep is fun to open and close too. Or just pushing it around is good too.
Ava likes to push buttons and play music.
Another good way to play music.
Or with the toy radio.
She likes to play with puzzles.
She's good at exploring.
And building towers.
She likes her Cheerios.
Fiona still likes to play cards like Grandma Rose. My mom taught Fiona Go Fish while she was visiting. The first time Fiona lost she didn't like it, but she's learning now that it's just a game and that sometimes she wins and sometimes she loses.
Fiona is really good at doing puzzles. She got a few more over Christmas (including a 100 piece puzzle from Donna and Margaret that should challenge her).
Dancing time!
Fiona can be very creative...a stick, two hooks and a string...yep, looks like fun.
We call this game Fun-In-A-Box.
With Thing Two and Thing One.
Ava's getting really close to walking. She scoots along furniture really fast, uses toys as walkers, will walk if we're holding her hands and can free stand for longer and longer periods. I'd say within the next month or so she'll be walking.
One last picture with Grandma before she had to leave.
