I figure this is a good way to share the experiences of our kids with out-of-town family and friends.

Another Gymnastics Recital
Fiona had another gymnastics recital in early May. This time each girl completed four different events - vault, bar, beam and floor - and was evaluated by a judge to get either a purple, pink or orange ribbon. Purple meant the girl remembered and completed the routine by herself without any assistance from her coach. Pink meant the girl remembered and completed the routine by herself, but needed some help from her coach. Orange meant the girl needed a reminder on the routine and some assistance from the coach. All four events were going on at the same time and then the different groups would rotate. All total it took about 2 hours, including the awards ceremony where every girl got to stand on the podium and get a medal and a t-shirt.

Afterwards with her proud mama. She was a little nervous being in front of so many people alone, but she did great!
