I had my ceremony for promotion to Major in the Reserves on Monday (12/10). It was a little early, since my actual date of rank is about a week before my due date, so that I wouldn't potentially miss it by being in labor. Sean and Fiona, Bob and Carol, and Jennifer and Caitlin were all able to attend, along with a good number of my coworkers. Lt Col Fischer (who presided) had some very kind remarks and overall it was a really nice ceremony.

Fiona pinned my new rank on my flight cap and Sean "pinned" my shoulder boards onto my blouse, since they don't make maternity service dress.
