When day is night and night is day

Nothing too exciting has been happening since the last post...no new firsts, but lots of slightly different days. Even though each day seems to go a little differently than the previous one, they all follow a similar pattern...eat, sleep, poop/pee, repeat during the day and eat, fuss, sleep a little, poop/pee, and repeat at night, with some variations for baths and some calm alert interactive times. Although she does usually sleep in one 3 hour chunk at night, which puts her at ~4 hours between feedings. Then the next feeding is a little tougher (she squirms a lot when she's more hungry), but the extra hour of sleep is nice.

It seems like she still has her days and nights backwards. She was like this pre-birth also where she would move around more in the evening. Now she's a very good sleeper during the day...so much that I've started to gently wake her up to eat if it's more than ~3-3.5 hours (esp. when she makes feeding cues in her sleep, but won't wake herself up), which seems to be helping with the nursing, but hasn't helped her sleep better at night. I keep telling myself that it's been less than 2 weeks and she needs time to adjust, which means that Sean and I will be tired for awhile still.

She's still in newborn diapers, still has her umbilical cord stump, is wearing 0-3 month clothes, but they're big on her (the newborn size fits better), has gone through 5 outfits in one day thanks to pooping and peeing on them, has had multiple baths and we're looking forward to better weather next week so we can go on more walks. It's hard to tell if she's growing, but she eats really well so I have to believe she is. She also smiles, makes grunting noises, hiccups A LOT, sneezes mostly in 2s, has the cutest little heart shaped ear when you look down at her, still has dark blue eyes, is working on her muscle development (legs, arms, neck and torso), and sleeps better at an angle than flat.

Here's a picture of us yesterday during the day, content and sleepy after nursing.
