Belly Button!

Fiona's umbilical cord stump started getting very loose on Saturday (April 3rd), but there was still some tissue holding on so we left in alone even though we were really tempted to help it along. Sunday morning it was even looser and hanging on by a thread. We were so tempted to pull it off, but thought that would hurt so we left it again. Then I was changing her diaper Sunday afternoon and when I removed her sleeper the umbilical cord stump had fallen off on its own and she had a belly button. Now we don't have to be careful about her diaper not rubbing it and she can take a real bath. Yay!
